LocalTechFix provides IT and computer-support services, including but not limited to: device repair, network setup, software installation and troubleshooting, data recovery, and ongoing technical follow-up. Specific scope is agreed at intake for each engagement.
By providing your mobile number and opting in (verbally, in writing, or via our website intake form), you agree to receive SMS messages from LocalTechFix related to your service — including scheduling, status updates, follow-up questions, and invoicing notes. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP; you may reply HELP for assistance. We will not share your mobile number with third parties for marketing.
Fees are agreed at the time of service or per a written estimate. Payment is due upon completion unless other arrangements are agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, or major card.
You are responsible for backing up your data before any service that may modify the device. While we take reasonable care, LocalTechFix is not liable for data loss occurring during service.
Labor is warranted for 30 days from completion against defects in workmanship. Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which we will assist you in claiming.
LocalTechFix's total liability for any single engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You may cancel a scheduled service at any time. If work has begun, you are responsible for labor and parts already used.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
