When you engage LocalTechFix for IT services, we collect your name, phone number, email, and a description of the service you've requested. We may also collect device information (make, model, serial) when relevant to the service performed.
Your information is used solely to: (a) deliver the IT services you've requested; (b) communicate with you about scheduling, status, and follow-up of those services, including via SMS where you have opted in; (c) maintain service records for warranty and follow-up support.
If you have provided your mobile number and opted in to SMS communications, LocalTechFix may send you text messages related to your service — including appointment reminders, status updates, follow-up questions, and invoicing notes. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with vendors strictly necessary to deliver the service you've requested (e.g., a parts supplier shipping a replacement component to you), and only the minimum required for that purpose.
Service records are retained for up to 3 years after the last service date, in accordance with standard business and tax record-keeping requirements. SMS opt-in/out records are retained as long as required by the applicable carrier and TCPA regulations.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting support@localtechfix.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and to request deletion of that information.
Personal information is stored on access-controlled systems. Payment information, if any, is processed by third-party payment processors and is not stored by LocalTechFix.
